Key Points of Interest

  • At least 20 past-producing uranium deposits are located within 10 km of the Midas claims, and many more uranium occurrences.
  • The historic St. Michael Uranium Mine sits within the Midas claims. This deposit was developed to the 130m level before insufficient funding closed the operation, however 250 tons of development ore shipped to the nearby Lorado mill graded 0.15% U3O8.
  • Recent work by JNR Resources revealed moderate to strong airborne VTEM conductors trending towards the property less than 2 km to the northeast.
  • The present exploration target is basement-hosted uranium deposits. 

The Midas property consists of three non-contiguous claims totalling 774 hectares that cover an area 8 km wide by 3 km long in a northeast direction, located within 2 km of the community of Uranium City, SK. The property was acquired by Fission 3.0 Corp. in October 2014 by staking.
